"The staff were welcoming and friendly. Loads of parking spaces. Grounds well maintained and pretty. Bedroom was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Food served in the bar was tasty and portions were good but highly priced for the standard. Wine is very expensive! Breakfast options good and fast service. The hotel does need updating. The central heating was permanently on and no thermostat on the bathroom radiator so it was unbearably hot. Same issue experienced in other guest rooms...

"There should be a lift from the basement car park to the reception. Difficult to carry luggage up the stairs. Some of the the doors were heavy to open. The car park has a width limit to enter which in my view is not necessary. Car park was tight with space. There should be a hand held shower in the bath. Difficult to reach the rose, to change position and therefore made a mess on the floor. Easy to slip. These are constructive comments and hope it helps to improve facilities."

"We used the hotel for an overnight stay after a wedding in Windsor. We arrived late, as we couldn't check in early. We were shown to a room in one of the buildings that was being renovated. We were told the hotel was being upgraded when we checked in , a forewarning may have been helpful though The room was clean but 'tired'. My daughter and I got changed for bed then we realised that none of the plug sockets were working. We tried to get through to reception for about half an hour. We rang...
