"We truly enjoyed Whirlwind Ranch. The property is more than we expected. It is absolutely beautiful and serene. Colleen was so friendly and kind. Their dog Jax is so cute and sweet. The fresh eggs and pastries were a pleasant surprise. It is a wonderful experience to be around beautiful horses and cool donkeys!"

"Inside the house, things were fine. No complaints other than the drapes in front room, and dining area had over a foot of material resting on the floor, easily covering up heating vents - health/fire hazard? Outside the house, the yard is in total disrepair. Steep porch steps with no rail - another health risk for elderly people like us. Nice community. Nice house. Just needs better care."

We caught the sunset on night on a levee walk and took a morning walk for coffee and croissants. The hosts are accommodating and easy to get a hold of. We will stay here again."

"Beautiful property and wonderful host. Close property was well maintained and provided beautiful areas for lounging and picnicking. Plenty of room beyond that for exploring and hiking. The host was gracious and spent some time talking to us, however was not invasive at all and afforded us plenty time to ourselves. Really enjoyed the animals and meeting the desert tortoise. 100% will stay again in the future."

"We stayed here in December and fell in love so scheduled a trip to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend! We had a great time and enjoyed lounging on the patio. The only thing to note is the kitchen is pretty empty - no staples and not a lot of basic kitchen items - no biggie, just something to keep in mind if you’re planning on cooking, like we were."

"This VRBO location is a wonderful remodel of downstairs, this quiet hosts live above with a separate entry. Spacious rooms, large closet space, new appliances include a laundry pair (although we didn't use those). The bath is gorgeous, but the shower door allows a bit of water to leak at the bottom. If you are a future guest, do the host a favor by wiping water overflow from the base at the door, before it drops down to possibly damage the floor. Otherwise perfect!"
