"We have learned to be wary of exterior access motels, so when this one had a 9.4 rating on Expedia, we were skeptical. It turned out to be absolutely worth the great score. Sparkling clean, spacious, with plenty of counter space and outlets and all-new furniture and fixtures, it exceeded our expectations. Definitely a great choice whether you're passing through for one night or staying for a week."

"This place really needs to do some serious maintenance and repairs. The first thing I noticed was the missing smoke detector. I found it and the batteries on a shelf above the clothes rack. The lady in the office told me she had to take it down because it was beeping due to low batteries. Two AA batteries should not be too hard to find. This would seem to be a serious safety issue. All of the bathroom fixtures were corroded and covered with hard water deposits. The on/off valve in the bathtub/shower was almost totally inoperable. It worked by pulling out or pushing it in. Almost had to use a prybar to pull it out and a hammer to push it in. The staff was friendly and helpful when they were present. They seemed to leave frequently and leave a note in the office with a number to call if they were needed. I have noted the most serious discrepancies I saw. There were numerous others. If there were any other motels in town I would definitely not stay at this one. A friend that came into town from Oklahoma for the same reunion as myself took one look at the room she got and checked back out and returned to Oklahoma."

South Fork Lodge

"I was trying to have a short visit with my grandpa who lives in an assisted living in Osbornd and there aren't many hotel options that aren't an hour away. South Fork Lodge was right in Osborne and accommodated my family perfectly. It was very well stocked for anything we could need in the kitchen or bathroom. It was very well cleaned. There were movies available on the TV and a hot tub. The weather didn't permit use of the hot tub unfortunately. The owners were very responsive."

"Full of character and artisticly decorated. Just absolutely different and more esthetically pleasing atmosphere then anywhere I've ever stayed. . Host was very accommodating to my night shift schedule and everything was clean and comfortable. "
