Highway 108 from Stowe to Jeffersonville takes you up through Smugglers Notch in Vermont. It is a short but amazing drive with multiple tight turns around huge boulders with towering cliffs both sides. The mountain pass section is closed in winter and best avoided year round if you have a large RV or are towing a trailer.

Great view from the 5th floor.

"I've stayed at the Lodge many times, but this was the first time not booking directly through the resort as I wanted to be on the 5th floor. The room was very nice and clean and being on the 5th floors the ceilings were vaulted which was a nice bonus. When we got to our room there were no patio chairs on the deck. I texted the manager who responded back within minutes and got the hotel to send up chairs within 10 minutes! I was also worried that this room would not have a roof overhang to provide shelter from the rain if needed. I was very pleasantly surprised that the overhang is quite large and provided very good rain coverage. The only real difference between this room and booking directly through the resort would be the in room decorations, furniture, toiletries, etc. This room was much more beige and natural compared to the standard decor. The moose antlers were a nice touch, but other than that it felt very "Ramor and Flanagan" upscale, not very much like a lodge/alpine chalet. I much more preferred the typical armour, head board, bed runner, etc in the resort decorated rooms.I was also disappointed that the provided robes were not the ultra plush and cozy ones found in the standard rooms and in the spa at the lodge. Tl;dr5th floor views were great. But the decor and vibe in the rooms booked through/decorated by the lodge is better. "

"Great location, easy access to the lift especially with the ski valet. Room was great to make our own meals and not have to eat on mountain. The pool and hot tub was great after skiing all day as well. "

Great place for access to skiing/outdoor rec at Stowe

"We just had our second stay in this room. My family (DH, 2 college kids, and I) spent almost a week here. The place was tight but definitely workable for us. We ate many meals in the place, and the kitchen was small but usable. The fridge is like a large dorm fridge so we kept some things in our cooler. There was sufficient cookware/dishes for 4. The only spices there were salt and pepper, and Keurig machine with a some coffee pods and hot cider pods. There were plenty of sheets and towels, soap, paper towels, trash bags, and tp. The property manager was quick to respond and easy to work with. The place was a splurge for us but it was worth it to be so close to the lifts and the ski storage/valet. All of the staff in the lodge and at the ski resort were very helpful. We would stay here again."

Perfect for Large Groups

"We have stayed in many properties at Stowe and this was our favorite. The layout is great for a big group and the unit is beautiful, comfortable decor, all the things you need in the kitchen and pretty dishes to top it off. We had two couples and 4 adult children and everyone had plenty of room. The beds were super comfy too! The property manager was excellent, very responsive and accommodating!"

Wonderful Studio in The Lodge at Spruce Peak

"I had a fantastic stay. The Lodge at Spruce Peak is the best place to stay for skiing at Stowe Mountain Resort. The ski valet is very convenient. Walk out, grab your skis, and go. The Lodge also has excellent food, parking, EV charging, and a range of other amenities. The condo is perfect and in excellent condition. Big desk if you're working remotely. Great views. Check is through the Lodge, so it's very convenient. The small kitchenette is just enough to make light meals and snacks. The property manager was very responsive and helpful throughout the stay. I highly recommend this location. "
