"The host was very welcoming upon arrival and gave us a great tour of the property along with some area history. Such a peaceful setting. Really enjoyed the patio upstairs off the bedroom. Great views of the terrain by day and fantastic views of the stars at night. Very close to the enchanting villages on hilltops nearby (Rigamagno and Scrofiano)."

"The pictures don't do the place justice. This villa is like something out of a Hollywood Rom Com set in an idealistic fictional Tuscan village. Not only is the villa and the views from every window simply stunning, the town of Loro Cuifena is one of the prettiest villages in all of Italy. The ONLY downside is that the drive up the mountain to the villa is not for the feint of heart."

"Nice house suitable for a family of 3-4. Two bed rooms, one with a double bed. Living room and well equipped kitchen. Very cozy property a kilometer or so from the town center. The host family lives in another house on the same property, and are very nice and hospitable, while not being intruding in any way. "Quiet, charming location which was central for day trips to Monte San Savino, Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Cortona, Montepulciano and many other villages in Tuscany. The pool was lovely, gazebo had honeysuckle and other flowering vines surrounding it which was a nice location to get out of the sun. Many olive trees surround the house and we did manage to see a wild boar, many geckos, birds and even a snake."

"This is a stunning property with a stunning view that photos simply cannot do justice to. My only reservation was the very poor directions to find it and some difficulty getting a hot water issue sorted out . The garden is stunningly beautiful and lavender bushes a hive of activity for bees and gorgeous butterflies that did not desturb us in any way even when standing in their midst observing them closely. "Nous avons loué une maison avec piscine mais nous n'avons pu utiliser la piscine que deux jours, dimanche et lundi (impraticable mardi et mercredi, eau trouble et très chlorée jeudi et vendredi). A cause d'un orage le lundi soir 15 aout et parce que la piscine n'a pas de couverture, la terre du jardin a glissé dans la piscine et l'a rendue impraticable (verte et "tournée"). De plus, les propriétaires n'ont pas réussi à trouver un professionnel pour résoudre le problème de piscine dès le mardi 16...

"This house is very nice. It is centrally located outside Siena and good location to explore all over Tuscany. It is off the beaten path so you’ll definitely need a rental car. Even just to get there. It is remote. Which is a plus but also has some drawbacks. We went in March so pool was closed. Too cold to swim. House is several levels. "The views were beyond compare! Proximity to Castellina in Chianti was wonderful and the management team were responsive to a few issues. My main comment would be, especially considering the rental cost, that the furniture and kitchen supplies (dishes etc) needs upgrading and the quality of the beds/linens should be improved. "We looked at many properties, both online and during a December visit to Chianti. This villa was by far best location we found. Everything was perfect, from our communication with Serena, to the reception by Raffaella, and then a stay in an amazing villa in an amazing setting.
