"Very well renovated buildings make up this hotel. A blend of old and modern that is really well thought out. Excellent lighting in the room (302) spacious bathroom with separate tub and shower. There is an elevator to aid getting bags to your room. Breakfast is a well stocked buffet. It’s easy to find if you use Google maps - probably trickier without. We walked from the train station pulling roller bags over some cobbled streets - about ten minutes. This is the most interesting hotel we have stayed at in the last three weeks. Recommended. "

"At first I was a little confused because no one had heard of the Design Suites but then a lady told me to go to this large hotel (pointing) and they could help me. The room I was staying in was at a different location in its own building behind security gates. The hostess was so gracious. Instead of telling me how to get there by walking she simply grabbed the key and said "let's walk together so I'm sure you find it and get in without any problems.,". So hospitable! My view was stunning and I was very close to the train and buses and the original town of Tirano. This was my favorite city of the whole vacation. There was easy access to plenty of restaurants and I had a superb rack of lamb! Safe city. Safe hotel. My room was Egyptian themed. I would stay there again and try the other uniquely designed rooms! Very nice. "

"This review is long overdue. We traveled from America to Italy a few months ago and had planned to take the Bernina Express from Tirano. Our group of 7 was delayed getting to the hostel. Throughout that time, Andrea communicated with me and was very patient. We arrived past 10 pm, but Andrea waited for our group to arrive and was so accommodating. The next morning we had our train at 8am, so he got up early and had transportation waiting to take us all down to the train station so that we did not have to walk in the rain or stress about missing the train. We did not even ask him to do all this, yet he was so kind to make sure we were comfortable even if it was only one night. We were so touched by his kindness and hospitality. Absolutely recommend this hostel. 10/10. We wish Andrea the very best."
