Bernina Suites - 150 metres to Bernina Express

"We booked the Bernina Suites for one night for a planned train trip the next afternoon. After being in Tirano for less than one day, we wished we had planned to stay longer. Our studio room was spacious and comfortable, safe and clean. It was a joy to do some laundry after two weeks on the road (washer only but our travel clothes dried overnight on the provided drying rack). The receptionist recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner and a bakery for breakfast. We were able to store our bags in a basement storage room while we walked the town and had lunch before our afternoon train. The hotel is an easy walk to the station. We would definitely stay again."

"A perfect place to sleep before taking the train. Clean and well maintained. Beds are fine, not very soft and the blanket on top we left off as we weren’t sure if it was clean. But all in all we were very happy with our choice."

"Experience was wonderful all the way from the booking to meal reservations and everything else. It was a fantastic experience! Breakfast was exceptional! Ramone gave us great hiking trail advice. Atmosphere is heavenly! We loved our stay!"

"The staff at the Terra hotel were extremely friendly and very helpful. The hotel itself was very clean and very modern. It was all very well looked after and very clean. The room was exactly what we were looking for. Even though we only stayed one night, it was a highlight of our trip for sure. The free breakfast was also excellent. There was plenty of choice and a good amount of food provided. I would highly recommend the Terra Hotel to anyone looking to stay in Tirano."

"Absolutely fabulous hotel and perfect location to enjoy the wonderful scenery - mountain hikes and swimming and activities on the lake. Duty manager so welcoming, helpful and friendly, advising us on walks on our arrival. Friendly restaurant staff and a great buffet breakfast to start the day with a much appreciated vegan selection. Lovely bakery on-site and covered walkway to the cable car opposite the hotel. Lovely spa area to relax after hiking, or to watch the rain from. Comfortable bed, fresh spring water, large balconies. No apparent air con, but nice just to have the window tilted open. Well served by buses"
