"The location is very near the KTX terminal so it's convenient for travelers. If you drive, they have parking which they will take your keys as soon as you check in.
They do serve breakfast but I didn't visit the restaurant. There is a coffee shop attached, and Edeya and Starbucks are both within a block of hotel.
Very clean rooms and comfortable beds."
"Convenient location, awesome ocean view, enjoyed the fountain show in the room. One thing, they provided only one bath towel. Had to ask every time after housekeeping. Otherwise all good"
"The private tub and dry sauna experience was truly unique and memorable.
My family and I love Japanese ryokan-style accommodations, and this was one of the most affordable ways we've experienced it. For less than $100, we had a large private soaking tub that comfortably fit all three of us while we relaxed and watched Netflix. Having a dry sauna right next to the tub inside our room made the experience even better.
The room itself was smaller than some of the other places we stayed during our trip, and there was only one small air-conditioning unit. After using the hot tub and sauna, the room stayed quite warm and took about one to two hours to cool down enough for comfortable sleeping.
Other than that, everything was wonderful. The complimentary breakfast, which included Korean cup ramen and toast, was simple but satisfying. The hotel also offered free washer and dryer facilities as well as a gym, which worked perfectly for travelers like our family who were on a road trip.
For the price, it's hard to complain. The private spa experience alone made it worth the stay.
9 out of 10. I would happily stay here again."
"This was a really great place to stay for the four nights in Mokpo. In fact, we really wish we could have stayed longer; we didn't know it was so good.
We got the top floor, so we had a view of the sea and the mountains, which was really beautiful. The air conditioning worked well, though it wasn't very hot whilst we stayed there. The TV was huge and the bed was very comfortable (we like firm beds, so it was a really nice firm bed).
What we also liked was the fact that you could get really tasty iced coffee and ice down below. The breakfast you got every morning was really good too: it was like a great Korean sandwich, really thick, tasty, and delicious, plus a pop-top drink which was really sustaining for the day. There was also an endless supply of cold bottles water in the fridge down below.
The cleaners were so good; they cleaned the room really well. There were lots of amenities in the bathroom, like a shaver and a toothbrush, and it was very quiet at night (I didn't hear any noise at all). The building has two lifts that are very fast and handy.
Across the road is a Lotte Mart MAXX, which is good for snacks and ice creams, and nearby in the vicinity are hundreds of authentic Korean seafood and Kalbi restaurants with really great Korean food. We really loved our stay there and would like to come back one day if we could.
The place is fairly central in terms of walking distance to things like E-Mart and other tourist spots. Use taxis though, they are very cheap."
"We found this hotel after missing our ferry and we are so glad we ended up spending the day here! The staff was incredible in accommodating us last minute. The town is a nice area to walk around and the locals are very friendly. There was a CU store in the lobby for spur of the moment cravings and they had a very affordable lunch buffet. Next time we will plan more time in Mokpo hopefully."
