Go kayaking right next to a restaurant with marvelous BBQ ribs, the Stickleback!
Sooke is just about an hours drive from downtown Victoria and if you have time is well worth a visit. The town itself is unremarkable except for the great food options, but the scenic walking and hiking is great.
We went to Sooke to Kayak and were able to find several areas in Sooke and Port Renfrew to Kayak. Also to Hike
Go to Stickleback restaurant for a lake view dining option with good food. It’s not super upscale or something, but all of us did enjoy the food. Also try kayaking in the area :)
Great place. I will be back
