"There is actually ac at this hotel which is not advertised. It’s also walkable from the railway station. We took uber from the train station to the hotel. It’s only cost us 8 pounds. We could have walked to the hotel if we knew it’s only 400 meters away. It’s literally just around the corner if you know the way. However, The road to the cruise ship on the other hand was harder and not well signed. We missed a few turns but eventually got to the ship in an hour!!! We found that there’s no use...

"We stayed at the White Star for only One night and throughly enjoyed it. Great location. Lovely rooms with a comfortable bed. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed a dinner & breakfast in the restaurant. Both delicious meals. Highly recommend this place."

"Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good. This is our second time staying and it definitely won’t be...
