"I had trouble with airplane changes that needed to be changed (I had put down the wrong date for the return flight). I tried to do it online and by phone with no success. After a half hour to 45 minutes I went down to the front desk for help. After about a half hour of her talking in Italian, I received conformation of the changes. Both of them at the front desk were helpful, kind and patient with me. I couldn't be happier."

"This place has spectacular views and looks like a Hobbit Village set in the hills of Tropea area. Elevator to the beach is excellent and property is extremely charming. There were plenty of things to do and see (views of volcano, swimming, pool bar, evening music). Power is dated and could use an upgrade but a cute mini-village with some spectacular gardens and scenery."

"We had an excellent stay at this hotel! The property is extremely well maintained, the breakfast is exceptional, staff are extremely friendly! When we arrived it took us a minute to figure out where is the entrance. The hotel is well positioned, the amenities are extremely good! I really enjoyed this hotel."

"Close to the train station only a 8 minutes walk. 2 minutes walk from the coast and about 5 minutes to the nearest beach. The breakfast is good but not spectacular. It's quiet at night no issues."

"We had a really pleasant stay at Aether Suites Tropea. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the included breakfast was a definite highlight — plenty of great options to start the day. 📍 Location: Just be aware that it’s about a 15-minute walk to the beach, with quite a few hills along the way. We didn’t mind the walk at all, but if you have mobility concerns, this is something to consider. A couple of small annoyances: I requested an iron on our first day, but didn’t receive one until our last night, as apparently there was only one iron shared among all the units. Also, the A/C took a little while to cool the room after returning from a hot day at the beach and inserting the key card. Not a huge issue, but definitely noticeable after being in the heat all day. Overall, a lovely stay with a great breakfast and clean rooms — just be prepared for the uphill walk!"

"We were greeted by Monia, she was very friendly and happy to help with our needs. The location was awesome just south of Pizzo, with both walking and ape rides into Pizzo, a short drive less than a couple minutes. The apartment was really awesome with great views, large balcony, inside great room sizes with kitchen with gas stove, and large refrigerator, complete with dishes and utensils for use. The grounds were greatly maintained, with a large outside pool right outside the rooms, and a few steps further was a private beach area with chairs and umbrellas and access to the sea. The train station was very close walking distance to get to Tropea and more. The property offered breakfast, lunch and dinner, mostly sandwiches and pizzas, with a minimal bar area. There was adequate parking for our vehicle and the property seemed very safe. The staff was very friendly and helpful to our needs. I felt is was a great location and property. Thank you everyone for making our stay wonderful. We appreciate all of you, and will see you again."

"We had a lovely holiday and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has many great facilities, especially the spa and gym, which were a real bonus. Our child absolutely loved the nursery, and there was a great selection of activities to keep them entertained. The lunch and dinner buffets were very good, with plenty of choice. However, after a longer stay, we felt the menus became quite repetitive. It would be nice to see a little more variety throughout the week, both at breakfast and during lunch and dinner. One suggestion would be to serve breakfast until 10:30am. On several mornings, food started being cleared away before 10:00am, which felt a little rushed. As the hotel has such a relaxing atmosphere, it would be nice if breakfast service reflected that and remained fully available until the advertised finishing time. Our room wasn’t one of the newer refurbished rooms, as none were available to book, which was understandable. However, the shower was a real disappointment. The water temperature constantly changed from freezing cold to boiling hot without anyone touching the controls, making it very difficult to shower comfortably, especially with a child. We reported this and requested that a plumber look at it. Although we were told someone had attended, unfortunately nothing seemed to have changed and the problem continued for the rest of our stay. The only other issue was smoking in the evenings. While we understand this isn’t entirely the hotel’s fault, the number of pe"
