"Praiano is such a charming town and the La Barbera was a perfect place to stay. Everything was perfect - From the moment we arrived and were guided to the beautiful patio and given an Aperol spritz, to our wonderful room with a comfortable bed spacious bathroom and patio with views for miles, to the wonderful breakfast every morning, and finally, the fabulous staff. Francesco was there to great us every afternoon after our day of adventuring. He made wonderful suggestions for dinner and booked the reservations. Sylvia greeted us each morning for breakfast and provided wonderful advice for planning each day. We stayed three nights and then spent four in Sorrento. We wish we had stayed one more night at La Barbera!"

"I was upgraded to a double balcony suite when I arrived; which was totally unexpected! The staff were friendly with clean ornate decorated facility bringing back that luxury feel to the vacation. I consider myself lucky to have been able to stay here and experience the black sand beach, pool, and classic timeless hotel "

"Staff was extremely helpful and coordinated my reservation with a group travel reservation as well. Offered me the option of a coffee pot in my room and gave me directions to local vendors in the area. Room was gorgeous balcony overhang a beautiful courtyard couldn’t be more pleased."

"I recently stayed at this beautiful property and was very impressed. The staff members were super nice and helpful and my room was spacious and clean. Breakfast provided a gorgeous view overlooking the sea and a nice selection of many different foods. Make sure to check out the rooftop bar at sunset. I would definitely recommend this property."

"The Capri Hotel was a great place to stay in Sorrento. It is conveniently located near the train station yet very walkable to the main square. Shopping and restaurant are nearby. The breakfast buffet is lovely with a chef cooking eggs, pancakes and crepes to order. The decor is lovely and the outdoor pool is very nice. By far, though, the real plus is the staff. They are warm, welcoming and so helpful, from Teresa Lauro, the hotel manager, to Nissal who always greeted us with a smile. We recommend this lovely little gem in Sorrento! "

"This was one of our favorite hotels we stayed in. The grounds were gorgeous and we were finally able to relax for a little while outside while enjoying the beautiful scenery. The beauty of this place is unparalleled. The breakfast is in a beautiful room too. There’s several other places to relax inside the hotel and I would definitely recommend this hotel. We booked a driver the day before to take us all the way down the Amalfi coast stopping at a few places. The scenery was gorgeous and the driver was great! Well worth it and so glad we did that."
