When we checked in we were told that a harbor view room was not available.Our room had a view of only the backs of some old buildings. In addition. there was a large support column in the middle of the room combined with a sloping ceiling that blocked access to the right side of the bed."

However, after a long drive, on arrival we were told it was not open which was very disappointing and annoying. There was very little choice in the area without driving so our last night in France was a big let down. I am very aware that on Sunday nights in France this can be the case so, after researching...

"Very helpful staff, good patio dinning area, clean, quiet and roomy bedrooms. Good B&B, modern furniture, easy walking to near by restaurants . Lots of free near by parking."

"Just pulling out La Ferme des Mares, a charming establishment that provides everything except showers and an apology or discount for providing showers. Should you decide to visit, my advice is that you check the hot water before accepting the keys so that you don't have the unhappy experience of discovering an ice cold shower upon waking the next morning. And no one at the reception to assist you until 8:30 AM when you need to check out."
