I like that they require hotel guests to reserve times to visit the spa so that it does not become crowded. The hotel is the perfect base for exploring Liege. Public transport is readily available, parking is safe, restaurant offers well made affordable dishes, the river promenade is just at the door.

Excellent location downtown with quick access to the Spa Baths. Modern facility, quiet, nice rooms, extremely clean. Wonderful breakfast, pleasant bar and attractive menu for lunch and dinner good bar although we did not eat there. Friendly and very professional personnel. Prices were very reasonable although we visited in the low season. Highly recommended.

This was our first time in Liege, so we weren't familiar with the area at all. Needless to say, we were extremely happy with the Hotel Hors Chateau. It's incredibly charming with just 9 rooms, and each decorated in a unique and fashionably modern way. The brick walls and decor are too cute! The hotel had just one employee assisting us...who also happened to prepare a personalized breakfast for us the next morning! Room comfort is a 4/5 only because our room was just a bit cold even with the heat...

Walking distance from the train. Quiet room when the windows are closed. Window key available from the front office if you want to open the window. Very cozy veranda in the middle of the hotel. Nice restaurant and bar. Comfortable beds and linens. Fast internet. Walking distance to city center is more than 1 mile. There are buses available if you need them. Overall, it was a great experience.

Nice boutique hotel just across the border in Belgium and just minutes away from the beautiful Dutch city of Maastricht. The couple that run the hotel are attentive and helpful. The comfort of the room was first rate. There's a little bus near the hotel that has you in Maastricht city center in 15-20 minutes (important note: Uber doesn't operate in Belgium but the hotel will get you a cab if needed).
