Really nice hotel with a great restaurant

Amazing hotel/ restaurant! The people that run the hotel are lovely and very welcoming. Rooms are nice, clean, and have wonderful little balconies to admire the gorgeous French Basque countryside. I would stay here again no questions asked.

The rooms were simple and small but it was very clean and comfortable. The garden and restaurant were beautiful!!!

Any time we are in or near Guethary we stay here. It has been five years and the excellent standard has not changed. They continuously update where need be. This time it was during a heatwave and the continuously cooled rooms are the recipe for a great night’s sleep, not counting the superbly soft white cotton sheets. Coming back again, that’s for sure.

Hotel St-Julian is the perfect way to experience the town and unique neighborhoods of Biarritz. Phillip and his wife are the best of host. We loved staying at this hotel - our bedroom was beautiful (and huge), combining old charm with modern beauty (bathroom was nicely updated). The front desk staff was very nice and helpful - they helped us figure out the local bus system to go to an indoor spa just outside of town on a rainy day when we could not go to the beach and gave us good restaurant recommendations for dinner!
