"Lovely traditional B&B very close to the centre of Ambleside. The room was clean, warm and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfortable! Joanna was a great host and I felt very welcome and safe as a solo guest. The breakfast room was charming and I enjoyed the vegetarian breakfast on offer. The only minor negatives were the shower and the lack of hygiene bags in the bathroom. I also struggled to access the apps on the smart TV. Overall it's an excellent place to stay and I would book again if I were visiting the area. "

"Hot tub was great, good temperature, clean tub and space surrounding it .was clean we were above the rear car parking space but this did not impact us at all ..we only ate in cocktail area .
