The property was clean and the host provided a number of perks to make the home even more comfortable. It made for a good home base for our family to relax. Spacious backyard. The management team was very responsive to all questions prior to check-in. The proximity to campus made it super easy to walk to graduation events on campus and avoid traffic and parking issues.

This is a terrific house for anyone attending events at Notre Dame. Walkable to campus and is the most well outfitted VRBO that I have stayed it. Clean, and spacious with 3 bedrooms. The backyard is peaceful and the neighborhood was quiet. Communication with the owners was wonderful.

Well-kept updated home fully furnished with any non-parishable amenity you might need: full sized shampoos, conditioners, body washes, curling irons, blow dryers, make-up mirrors, iron, ironing board, board games, office supplies, storage containers, ziplock baggies, seasonings, cooking and baking appliances, Kuerig complete with assortment of cups...and these were not just previous guests' remnants. Host Doug was easily accessible and timely with responses. Very walkable location - not only to campus, but head east just a few blocks to drugstores, McDonalds, Colonial Pancake House, etc. on Ironwood Rd. Will definitely stay again =)

House is in a great location in a nice neighborhood easily walkable to Notre Dame campus, Stadium, etc. House is clean, modern and spacious. Host is incredibly kind and helpful.

Clean and close to campus

Nicely furnished and very clean home in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk from the ND campus. Well equipped kitchen. Large and private backyard. I would definitely return to this house!

Wonderful getaway

This was my first VRBO and it will not be my last. This charming house was all we could ask for. A little bit further from ND than we thought but absolutely just a 2 minute drive. The host was great to work with and very helpful. The neighborhood was lovely and restaurants, drugstores, and grocery stores were all convenient.

South Bend weekend

This is one of the better stocked VRBO we have stayed at. The kitchen has seasonings and oils to cook- we did breakfast at the house. Quiet neighborhood. Short walk- 10 min- to Notre Dame Stadium. The large bedroom is not near a bathroom, but wasn't a big issue for us. Communication was excellent.

Clean, recently renovated house, close to ND

The house was recently renovated. Has new kitchen appliances, new washer/dryer. Three bedrooms and a couch with 1 1/2 bathrooms. House is in good location. Only caveat was that one bedroom (the largest) is at the other end of the house without a nearby bathroom.

Upscale accommodations

South Bend VRBO had many listings to choose from to accommodate larger groups…but we weren’t looking for a “frat house feel” or a place to “crash on a football weekend”. When looking for a place for 3 adult couples attending a wedding weekend I was so happy to find Doug’s house. Comfortable mattresses and nice bedding, only one bed per room, nice couches and chairs, kitchen table for 6 and a fully stocked kitchen! House appears to have been added onto a few times, so know that if you sleep in the master bedroom you need to pass through the living room or kitchen to get to a bathroom (not a big deal).

Great house - completely as described

The house was just as advertised. Perfect stay for our work trip. Lots of storage and hangers in the bedrooms. The only thing we would have loved was a full length mirror somewhere.

Easy booking. Great communication prior to arrival and while there. House exactly as described. Impeccably clean, more than enough kitchen appliances and supplies. Paper products were aplenty. Lovely back porch and yard. Easy to get to ND on foot. Wouldn’t have changed a thing.

Everything was great, from the location, cleanliness, communication with Doug. The one thing that was not good was the location of the bathrooms. The master bathroom did not have its own bathroom, which is why I don’t consider this house to be as family friendly as others with a master bathroom.

Overall the stay was nice. The bathrooms were not ideal as far as location in the home. There was also a loud hum in the Master bedroom that made it very difficult to sleep.
