Friendly check-in. Basic needs. Clean but needs maintenance. Don’t expect a luxury stay but if you need a quick stop, I felt safe and comfortable.

When we arrived, the front desk staff member was very helpful and welcoming. However, once we got to our room, we noticed several maintenance issues. There was a hole in the wall, the shower towels had holes in them, and the bathroom door had a hole that appeared to have been covered with spackle. Another downside is that there is only one vending machine, and one ice machine and is located on the first floor, which can be inconvenient if you need something while staying on another floor. Overall, if you just need an inexpensive place to crash for one night, this hotel may work for you. However, if you plan on staying for more than a night or two, I would recommend looking elsewhere. The helpful front desk staff was a positive, but the condition of the room could use some improvement.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of South Bend, IN, and close to the highway, so it's a bit noisy, with a few big rigs parked in the parking lot. While on the surface fits to the Super 8 standard, there were a few positive surprises. The bed (king size) was unusually comfortable and the bathroom, also spacious beyond the usual standard, had a large, LED-lighted mirror (very comfortable and convenient). Upon arrival we were greeted by AC set to 65F, quite chilly even on a hot day, but that ws a minor inconvenience as all equipment (pluming, fans, AC) worked relatively quieter compared to other similar places.

Great staff. Great breakfast. Pretty clean and recently refurbished. There are a few glitches, e.g., one of the outlets on one side of the bed isn't working.

Very nice, clean, attractive room. Bed was very comfortable! The room was a studio suite that was just 50 square feet bigger than a standard room that was the same price as the standard but felt so much bigger. It was great. Had a fridge microwave and loveseat. Bathroom really nice and big. Only drawback was the showerhead was a little small but water pressure was fine. Had a small but nice breakfast - Egg omlets, pancake maker, cereal, coffee, tea, juice, milk, bagels, toast. We would stay again.

Check in was super easy, good customer service. Breakfast was a little lacking and they could use new carpet in some rooms. Comfortable bed. Overall satisfied. Better price than surrounding hotels.
