The hosts were great at communicating and we had no issues during our stay. Although we had a bit of a surprise when the 2.5 bathrooms turned out to be 1 shower room and 2 small loo rooms without any loo role - which for a house accommodating 12 was not what we had anticipated! "We booked a so called “luxury” property through Expedia, and what we arrived to was diabolical. This is not an exaggeration from the moment we arrived, it was obvious the property was in a disgraceful condition. The settee was broken and leaning, covered in stains, the walls were filthy, and the garden was completely overgrown. To make matters worse, a full, rotting bin outside was swarming with flies, which were flying into the house as we opened the door. We contacted the management company...

"The Coach House is ideal for a large family group with generous sized rooms all through. We loved being so close to the forest and being able to walk straight out onto the path to Hatchet Pond. The house is very well equipped with everything we needed and Jane was an excellent host and very friendly and helpful. A great place to stay and highly recommended. "
