"Sandpipers is a beautiful place to stay. It was neat and clean and had everything we needed. It is over 3 levels and the stairs are quite steep. The cottage is very central in the village. Peter sent clear instructions re getting the key and arranged a parking spot for the car. It was about 5-20 mins walk to the parking area.Looe is a very quaint fishing village with lots of interesting shops and a beautiful little harbour. We only wish we could have stayed longer!"

"This was a lovely old stone cottage connected to others on a fairly steep, narrow road. We had some difficulty finding it, but a lovely employee at the Fore 2 Restaurant guided us. Your gps might lead you astray. You really need to unload your gear and then park in the town pkg lot. We could walk everywhere & take the bus to other locations. The cottage itself had a well-equipped kitchen and good living/dining area. If ppl in your party have mobility issues, they will find the steep, narrow...

"The house has a view of the River Fowey from the living room and the MBR! The house is beautifully furnished and decorated with COMFORTABLE couches and beds. We slept like babies here! It is at the end of the little town of Fowey near the car park ( very convenient if you have a car). Being in Fowey is like going back in time.. it is beautiful, with only one tiny one way street. No car noises! Wonderful restaurants, shops, grocery stores nearby for cooking at the house in the lovely kitchen....

"Loved all the art! The kitchen was just like being at home. Lovely sunroom and courtyard area. The bed was super comfy and the claw foot bath/shower was novel. The cottage is in a great position for seafood restaurants and walks along the coast."

I had my 90 year old mother with me so the steps into the property were a bit of a challenge, particularly the step over the threshold. The stairs within the house were also steep, but she managed ok. Well equipped and tastefully decorated. "We had a lovely stay in this cottage and it was perfectly situated for our needs. Everything we needed had already been thought about, tea, coffee, tea towels etc. There was only one very minor problem for us (not the fault of the cottage) and that was our puppy was unable to climb the outdoor steps up to the terrace. Otherwise it was perfect for our short stay."

It's much bigger in real life than it seems in the photos and felt very spacious for four of us. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. "Bucca Cottage was very charming. The location was perfect for exploring, eating, and relaxing. The cottage was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. The footpath was magical and well kept. We parked in pay parking, which was close wnough to the cottage to not be an annoyance. Parking was quite reasonably priced. Enjoyed every moment."
