Recently remodeled 2 bedroom + loft, 1.5 bathroom this home is a whole lot of fun and convenience, at one of Tahoe’s best locations. This 3-story townhouse has a newly updated kitchen with granite counters, tile floor, and full-size appliances, the 1.5 bathrooms have been recently renovated, and tasteful furnishings throughout.

NOTE: Pool and hot tubs are temporarily closed for maintenance, with an estimated reopening date of 6/19.

The maximum number of people allowed in the home is: 6 for families including children, 6 for a group of all adults if all couples.

Lakeland Village is centrally located in South Lake Tahoe, with something for every family member. Amenities include 2 heated pools plus a kiddie pool, two shared hot tubs, a shared sauna, a fitness center, a beach, a picturesque pier, fire pits on the lakeside patio, and seasonal BBQs and boat buoys available first come first served. Come home to the primary bedroom on the ground floor with a king bed, an HDTV & a full bathroom with a tile tub/shower & separate sink/vanity area. Bedroom 2 downstairs has two queen beds, HDTV, and shares the hall half bathroom. Both bathrooms have been recently updated with new fixtures & tile floors.

Gather the group on the second level around the gas fireplace inlaid in a stone wall with a flat-screen HDTV mounted above. The sectional couch seats 5 comfortably. Let the chef of the family whip up a meal in the newly remodeled kitchen that opens up to the living and dining areas. The dining table seats 6, w/ additional bar seating for 3 at the kitchen counter. The open configuration provides the perfect setting for gathering, cooking, and enjoying. Take your after-dinner cocktails outside onto the private balcony with a table & chairs, or sit in the warm sunlight during the day & cook a meal on the electric BBQ.

Level 3 is an open loft with 2 twin beds, overlooking the living level below. Perfect for the kids!

Get around the city for free with the city’s new “Lake Link” free on-demand ride service. Free Heavenly Ski Shuttle - pickup is at the bus stop behind the lodge on HWY 50.

All the linens and towels for your use in the home & at the beach are provided.

Boat, Bike, SUP & kayak rental are within walking distance of Lakeland Village in the summer & ski/snowboard rental in the winter.

Cozy and Comfortable Home away from home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time renting one of their properties and still never disappoint with their very well communicated response and appreciation with all the information provided. We stayed for 10 days during Christmas break that fulfilled our expectations and needs like it is at home. They even include Christmas Tree bundle and had it up all ready before our arrival! That was very sweet!! We loved it here and it was like a home sweet home away from home. Thank you!!!!

First Family Vacation in South Lake Tahoe

Overall the stay at Lakeland Village was great! The location of the property allows for majority of things to be in walking distance (grocery store, food, trails, etc.), the private lake access and pier was perfect for our family with small kids! The property itself was nice, there was plenty of space for us to not feel crowded. It was hard with two different sets of staircases and both bathrooms being on the first floor opposed to the living area and kitchen being in the second. It was manageable though with some baby gates. There was no AC but the property had ceiling fans in all the rooms and multiple portable fans which helped a ton! The RNR & Lakeland Village Staff were awesome! They checked on us throughout our stay via text and were quick to respond. One of the smoke alarms started beeping due to a low battery and they had it replaced within a few hours with minimal interruption to our day. The check-in and check-out process was easy. Again, the overall stay was great and we enjoyed our first family vacation in South Lake Tahoe!

Overall impressions of unit #495

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall enjoyed our stay. Unit was clean except for some food crumbs left under coffee table in living room. Toaster needs replacing and older Me.Ciffee - coffee maker can definitely use an upgrade! Keirugs are not that expensive! The main complaint is the creaky floor boards in the dining kitchen walkway. People trying to sleep downstairs are subject to load creaks above their heads for those early risers making coffee and watching tv on the main floor . Thirdly the bathtub /shower combo should be looked at. When standing directly beneath the shower head ( front part of tub) it creaks with sound of wood perhaps cracking beneath it. Would hate to have someone fall through that floor! Overall we enjoyed our first time stay at Lakeland Village but likely will call property direct in the future as we could have saved nearly $300.00- they had a Threebee offer- stay 2 nights third night free and we then could have used the Lakeland shuttle. Very bummed when told that service was not available to us!

She slept upstairs in the loft and we in the bedrooms downstairs. We skied a lot and the snow was in unbelievably good. On the days we didn't ski we soaked in the hot tub with the kids or hit the gym. I liked the location, it was about 10 mins from Cal lodge by car. Or you can take the ski bus, pretty much in front of the home. The Safeway is walkable and so is CVS to stock up. I visited the Chinese massage across the street a few times too for a foot massage.
