The rooms were clean, comfortable and stylish, the pub décor was also stylish and comfortable. Don't really know how well connected it was to public transport as we drove there and then walked everywhere we wanted to go. All round great experience and would stay again if I needed to be in that part...

We had 4 suitcases and in no time we had 4 different male staff members taking our luggage up one flight of steep stairs to our room. "After driving 150 miles and arriving before check-in I was gutted to find no parking was available due to a wedding reception. The check-in staff were not really interested in my dilemma and had little knowledge of alternatives in the area. Fortunately, I did and parked at the local station for £12. I do think that parking should be reserved for those staying at the hotel rather than day trippers."
