"Lovely location. Fun pub. Remodeling. Happens. But started too early and was impossible to sleep through it."

"Disappointed.Our 3rd stay in 6 years-it’s a beautiful location to stay, but we probably won’t be back to this resort as it is no longer being maintained or managed & appears to be run by backpackers.The resort itself: had glass pool gate removed, shingles on pavilions broken or missing, holes in their ceilings, roof edges missing, exposed electrical wires on paths, broken or missing pavers & mouldy sun loungers around the pool, broken chairs discarded in the bushes & the tennis court was unusable & covered with garden debris. Our beach bungalow: the internal privacy door was gone, sliding door badly needed oiling & the handle was filthy, the bathroom had cockroaches, the door was badly water damaged & window ledges had splinters with paint coming off. Shower screen had massive lime scale build up. The kitchenette no longer had any tea towels, detergent, cleaning cloths,had missing & mismatched crockery/ cutlery, but now you’re meant to use the restaurant exclusively for food.The hammock was unusable. It was wet when we arrived, so we waited for it to dry, but it was so musty, the smell clung to your skin. We asked for it to be swapped with one from an empty bungalow, the pleasant but under resourced staff member gave an automatic no- the go to answer when you have no manager. Beware that you are now expected to stay overnight at Airlie Beach, because the reception closes at 5.30pm, as the resort & the water taxi DON’T coordinate with the few daily flights into Proserpine. "

"Staff are awesome, amenities great although being eco friendly created a few minor issues with a spider wasp infestation around our cabin, property is beautiful and would benefit from an eco friendly playground such as a flying fox or jumping mat that can be removed or covered perhaps bike rental availability"

"Amazing place, incredible view and lots of thoughtful touches around the place. The hosts were very responsive. It’s in a peaceful quiet location just 10 min out of the heart of airlie beach. Highly recommend, will certainly book this place again in the future. "

"The property has every amenity and is situated in a beautiful spot with amazing views. We came here to snorkel and were not disappointed. We hired a boat for day trips and cruised the islands, snorkeling on the many reefs. If we do it again we’d hire a skipper with local knowledge to save time. Eventually the weather closed in so we took a tour to Whitehaven and swam there and didn’t snorkel as there’s no reef. It was beautiful. We always wore stinger suits and didn’t have any issues. We would definitely stay in this property again. "

"Our stay was just ok. The trash was still full and in the kitchen from the previous guest, there were dead roaches, there were dirty popsicle sticks by the pool. The coffee machine didn’t work either. A staff member did drop a different one by after I let them know. We also had the doorbell ring at 2am and wake everyone in the house… apparently this is common when the batteries run low? Seems like they should be routinely changed to prevent that from occurring. None of these issues are big, but combined are quite a few blunders considering we paid top dollar to stay here."
