Hotel was awesome. I really like hotels that have a homey/cozy vibe. Staff was really friendly. Restaurant next door was great. Steps away from the beach is also a great plus. Would book here again next time I stay at south padre island!

I'm so glad I chose this place. My husband who is not a traveler really enjoyed his stay. We loved the food and drinks and how close the beach access was. It's also close to many places. We just had to drive across to see the sunset. Everything you want in a stay is in this place!

This was right on the beach and had an excellent restaurant on the property. Food and drinks were excellent and very friendly bartender and waiter. They even brought our dogs some bacon and water. Hotel seemed a bit pricey however it was the weekend and we had to pay extra for our dogs. Bed was very comfortable.

The room was clean and comfortable for my husband and myself. It has a fridge, microwave , and coffeemaker.The staff were very helpful and friendly. Beach is easily accessible and just a few steps away. We also like the cafe where you can order for your meals. This is very convenient. The pool is small but clean-just adequate for chilling out. The location is half a mile from the supermarket and was very quiet during our stay-ideal for two seniors who wanted a short and relaxing beach getaway. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel.

The property is dated but well maintained. There is a restaurant with pretty good food. And there is a small bar with really great drinks. The place is a little small but very quaint. Parking is a little tight but just enough. All in all my wife and I enjoyed our self's and also nice little pool.

Fun spot. Excellent beach access. Loved the restaurant and bar that was attached. Not at all fancy or luxurious but a good clean spot to stay if you want a good location where you can walk to the beach. The bar and restaurant had great food and drinks and an extremely casual atmosphere. You could wear a swimsuit to eat dinner if you wanted to. You could also easily walk to several other shops and restaurants in the area. Great spot.

First time here and it was an absolutely lovely stay. The uniqueness of this property is you never have to leave if you don't want too! Everything you need is there on site. Want a delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a tasty cocktail, the cafe is right at your fingertips. The bed was comfy, AC nice and cold. Rooms were cleaned daily and the property kept very clean. *my two gripes are: the pool was dirty when we arrived and 2 days later I had to make a complaint. Apparently the maintenance man was off. It was cleaned as soon as he came back, but, the next day it was dirty all over again. I think it should be cleaned daily. 2nd: The hot and cold temperature of the shower in room 103. I could never find a happy medium. It was either very hot, or cold. All in all, it was a wonderful stay, and we will definitely stay again. Until next year. Ps. Please fix the handles on the outside cleaning station/shower.

I'm an RGV local and this was my first staycation! The room was incredible but the charger ports in the light fixtures above the bed weren't working so I used cube chargers on the outlets. The small fridge kept my soda and snacks cold but the freezer doesn't complete freeze for Popsicles. My room was on the first floor and I loved how close the beach access and café on the beach was, main reason for my stay and definitely will stay again for those reasons plus how friendly and hardworking the staff was to help me throughout my stay.

Very disappointed in our stay of 2 days here. At check-in , the front desk lady was not friendly, as if we were bugging her. Our room was damp and musty , the refrigerator had a leaky freezer and no dishes , or utensils not even paper towels were provided. On our second night we seen cockroaches. We reported to the front desk of our sighting and was told “Sorry” wasn’t offered to be moved or anything. As we checked out , we reported seeing what we did on numerous times and all the lady said was “ oh , I guess I’ll have maintenance clean it “ that was all. The only bright spot was the insight Palms Cafe. Food was very good , priced good and the staff was friendly.
