"For a small cottage it was spacious, had modern amenities. The listing says harbor view but you have to look thru power lines, power poles and a lobster processing plant. The side stone steps are overgrown with vegetation making it hard to maneuver. All in all a good experience."

"Cute cozy cottage right on Penobscot Bay. Very thoughtfully supplied with honestly more updated conveniences and small appliances than we expected to find, given the rural setting. The spiral staircase to the bedroom was easily manageable. We did not mind the only bathroom being on the first floor. The view of the bay is just stunning. "This is a private, compact property that was perfect for our (too) short September weekend getaway along a beautiful part of the Maine coast. I spent hours out on the back deck overlooking the tidal cove, reading, sketching, but mostly just looking and listening. Lots of wildlife, including two ospreys, a raven, a great blue heron that came twice a day to fish, and even two mink that chased each other across the beach. Cottage was very well equipped and cozy.
