We walked from the train station to the hotel and also from the hotel to the cruise port. There is a shopping mall right across the street with restaurants. The room had nice a/c, big bathrooms and comfortable beds.

The hotel is very convenient for cruise travelers. It also offers really good value for money particularly for the breakfast. We also like that it’s across the street from great restaurants in the mall. Staff are extremely helpful and we were able to leave our bags. Rooms are quiet and clean.We will certainly stay here again.

Location was good next to mall with food court and restaurant. Staff was great. Breakfast was mediocre: coffee machine broke, only had packets of instant coffee. Food quality was passable. Room was clean and functional. Overall it’s fine for a night after a tour or cruise before departing from Heathrow in the morning.

We liked that the West Quay was just across the street. The hotel had a direct line for taxi service to our cruise ship the next morning. The front desk was very accommodating in letting us check in four hours early. Over all a great place to stay the night before your cruise.

Premier Inn (West Quay), in the city centre of Southampton, is a gem for overnights prior to or after a cruise. It is very close to the cruise terminals and has all the advantages being in the centre of the city. Restaurants, shopping, museums and galleries are all walking distance from the hotels. The hotel itself is a simple hotel that is very clean, modern room amenities (including ac) and super friendly staff. Despite being very popular and extremely busy, it was quiet and comfortable in my room. There is a restaurant onsite which served descent food. I highly recommend staying here.

Very nice hotel walking distance to interesting sites in town. Short taxi ride to cruise port walkable too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. No in room fridge. Thermostat wouldn’t go lower than 19 centigrade which was uncomfortably warm.

Location is everything, and this place proves it. It's close to the water, the docks, the bus & train stations, and the medieval walled city. We could end it there, but I have to give it some more compliments. We all loved the showers. They were perfectly clean to jump into and the water pressure was ideal. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The breakfast hit the spot, and we all got a good night's sleep.
