"This place in the people running it are great! We initially pulled up and was greeted happily by Michelle and as we took it all in, it was almost like instant peace. They are very kind, courteous, and it was a true blessing to be able to experience this with my family. They are very present on the grounds, we’ll hang out with you at the fire and surely put a smile on your face. I highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a quick smooth getaway to catch a breather away from the city life. If I could give them 10 stars I would without question. Thanks again!"

"Hotel was super clean and appeared newly renovated. Staff very helpful. Hotel located in DT so within walking distance to many bars and restaurants. The breakfast that was provided was disappointing. Eggs, sausage, sausage gravy etc were all lukewarm at best. Limited selection of cereal, bread and yogurt."

"The owners are beyond responsive. When we noticed a broken lock on the back door, they drove over at 10:30 p.m. to fix it, no hesitation, and we hadn't even asked. They clearly care about their property and want renters to have a great stay. The cabin is nice. A very large deck off the main floor has great views. The bedrooms feel newer, the bathrooms are really nice, and the water pressure is great. Little touches like wrapped toothbrushes, toothpaste, and spa-quality shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are a nice surprise. Every bedroom has a great ceiling fan, a large TV, and new pillows, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. I didn't try them all, but the two on the main floor were adjustable, so you can raise your head, your feet, or both. The pool is a nice size, and there are plenty of towels and chairs.A few things I'd want to know before booking this for a large group, which we weren't.The main floor has a kitchen, two bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a long dining table with 20 chairs. That's it, no couches, no TV. The only couch is in a basement room that seats about seven, so if you're hosting a big family gathering, I'm not sure where everyone goes. With a group that size, it’s nice to have common areas that fit everyone, or at least a game room where the kids can go. The other disconnect was laundry: one machine, a washer/dryer combo, so only a single load at a time. That's tough with a pool."
