10/10 Excellent

"Lost my room key while I was downstairs playing the slotss and the front desk lady was so helpful and got me a new room key and deactivated the old ones. Our waiter in the Grand Cafe was super sweet went out of his way to get my son a root beer even though they didn't have any at the restaurant. Definitely would recommend if you have kids or if you're going on a romantic getaway."

"As a solo female traveler, this was one of the most frightening hotel experiences I have ever had. At approximately 4:30 a.m., I was awakened by a stranger attempting to enter my room. The only reason they did not gain full access was because the security bar was engaged. Had that bar not been in place, a complete stranger would have entered my room while I was asleep. When I reported the incident to the front desk, I was told it was simply an error and that someone had mistakenly been given access to my room. What was even more concerning was the apparent lack of urgency or understanding of how serious this situation was. Allowing a stranger access to an occupied guest room is not a minor oversight—it is a major safety failure. Because this hotel is located next to a 24-hour casino and gas station, I no longer felt safe staying on the property. However, I also did not feel safe leaving alone in the dark before daylight. I was effectively trapped in an environment where I felt vulnerable and unsafe until sunrise. The hotel promised a refund as a result of this incident, but I never received it. Mistakes happen, but guest safety must be the highest priority. Human trafficking is real. Every guest—especially those traveling alone—deserves to know that the hotel is taking reasonable measures to ensure that strangers cannot gain access to occupied rooms in the middle of the night. This incident was unacceptable, and the hotel's response after was equally disappointing."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Durant

"The main thing I love about the La Quintana Inn & Suites by Wyndham Hotel, it's always so clean and neat, the lobby, the room and bath room. Plus, you get a full course complimentary breakfast that was delicious. There's nothing I can say about this Hotel that is negative. This is my Hotel of choice, can't get much better."

"Shower was not clean. Jets in jacuzzi tub did not work - this feature was the entire reason I booked this hotel. Very disappointing. Our tv remote did not work. The clerk had to come to our room twice, once to ensure it didnt work - maybe he thought we didnt know how to operate a tv remote? The second time he came back with a new remote which did work, thankfully. The room was not soundproof as advertised. We heard no less than 4 trains during the night, doors slamming, and children and dogs making noise. "

"Clean initial impression, but cut short due to major issue (Room 263) We checked into Room 263 (2 queen beds) just before 10:00 PM. Initially, we were satisfied with the visible cleanliness of the room and the excellent customer service at check-in. We put down our things and went out for a few hours, returning just before 2:00 AM to sleep. During the night, my significant other moved to the second queen bed to have a bit more room. When our alarm went off at 6:00 AM, he woke up with large, red, swollen welts across his chest, stomach, back, hips, and buttocks. Suspecting bed bugs from that second mattress, we immediately examined the welts and gathered our things to leave. I slept in the first bed the entire night and did not get any welts, so the issue seems localized to that specific second bed. We checked out early, just before 7:00 AM. Kendrick at the front desk was very kind and professional, handling our early departure well and providing us with the GM's email address to request a full refund. This was our first time staying overnight in Durant, and while the staff was pleasant, waking up with severe welts ruined the experience. I cannot recommend staying here until management thoroughly inspects and treats Room 263."
