"Nice hotel but there are some room for improvements the carpet was torn by the threshold's, drywall repairs and the ac went out in our room they upgraded us same night with o issues but just a few updates would have this a great place. Mike at the front desk, the bartender can’t remember her name and Mr Charles was amazing when he came to help us move rooms "

"The room was not clean. Actual used/dirty bed lines on the bed. I immediately notified the front desk. After several hours, I was still awaiting service and took dirty linens to desk and requested clean ones. I had to remake bed myself. Management was notified of situation, and nothing was done. I was not given a clean room, or compensated on the one I was in. Very poor customer service. "

"Compared to the first hotel, Sonesta Essential Houston Hobby Airport that was closed for renovations way after I was booked and they sent us to the second one that wasn’t suitable. The stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Houston - Greenway Plaza was very suitable, warm, friendly and clean"

"Rooms needed like painting, mattress was hard and squeaky. No fridge or microwave in room, my clock did not work. I did ask for a room change as the walls were scuffed and dirty, smelled and window was very to another building. Staff was very accommodating and changed my room! "

"Check in went smooth with friendly staff. Breakfast was very nice with hot and fresh biscuits and gravy, Make your own waffles, pastries, cereal and more. We were 1st put in a room with no air conditioning, but the friendly staff moved us to another room. It was a hot day, and we decided to go swimming. We found the pool was green, no signage, so decided to ask the front desk. They didn't know either and had to call maintenance. We were told the pool needed work so it would be closed for the remainder of our stay. I should also mention that this location is near the airport and planes fly over. The sound bothered us at first, but we got used to it quickly and didn't notice it after a short time. There was lots of parking and we felt safe. "
