We really enjoyed our stay at the HOGG. The property has a fun, quirky character that gives it a personality of its own, which we appreciated. The private onsite parking was a major convenience, and the location made it easy to walk to nearby restaurants, bars, and other sights. We enjoyed being able to explore the area on foot and then come back to such a unique and comfortable place. We would gladly stay here again.

My daughter and I went to a concert at 713 Music Hall and this hotel was PERFECT! It was within walking distance of the venue and it was safe to walk! That saved us time and money trying to find parking or getting a ride to/from the venue. It was perfect. This downtown area was so clean and safe and I wasn’t concerned with us walking at night (it’s right next to Ballet Houston and in the theater arts district). The hotel is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The room was huge, kitchen was great and there was so much space—I could have lived there. Will definitely return!

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. The room has everything you need. 2 comments: I was unable to stream my videos on my phone to the ROKU stick on the TV. This is a fabulous space. Loads of room and light, excellent location! Only a few drawbacks... the AC was unbelievably loud... just no way to sleep through that. Also, the black paint on the floor comes off like mad, so don't go barefoot!
