"Enjoyed an excellent stay here. All staff members were wonderful and the room was gorgeous and as pictured online. At one point, we ran out of conditioner, and a new bottle was delivered within minutes. Great amenities and very clean. My only note to future guests is to be mindful of the parking situation if you have a car. The hotel only offers valet, which was quite expensive. I recommend using the self-parking lot across the street, which is way more affordable and felt very safe. The area is also fantastic - nearly everything you can hope to see in Portland is no more than a fifteen minute drive away. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. "

"This apartment suite was perfectly appointed! It is very close to shops and delicious eats. It was very quiet and cozy and for the price it was very much a value! Nancy the owner was kind and greeted and us and if we had needed anything I felt she was very accessible. The apt was also aesthetically pleasing great library of books and I used some of the Portland books to look up nearby things to do. Bed was unbelievably comfort and for me the sofa pullout was pretty good for extra guests. I would stay here again hands down. "

"Horrible experience in the hotel’s restaurant. Very long wait, when there were only a few tables occupied. Food never arrived and had to complain. Once they did bring the food, it was not complete and never did get completed. Comping the meal was not good enough when the whole group was not fed. Hotel didn’t do much other than say sorry. I do not recommend. "

"The best of Hawthorne home.This place is well equipped and thoughtfully set up for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is great whether you’re cooking or just grabbing something quick, and having coffee, creamer, and sugar upon arrival was a nice touch.The bathroom had reliable hot water and a good shower, and the sitting area is cozy for two. The bedding was comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep.If you’re sensitive to light, the streetlight across the street may be noticeable at night.Great location—easy access to Ladd Circle and surrounded by restaurants"
