"The location and parking was great, but that is about it. We arrived at 6pm. No one was there, even though it was not after hours. The building is an old apartment made into rentals, the room smelled musty, non working AC was replaced by dirty floor fans. Uncomfortable pillows. Basically a motel."

"The rooms are clean and spacious and the views of the ocean from the balcony are great. Parking is a bit expensive, but the location is great.Theres always lots of boardwalk traffic in front of the hotel, and very close by are several restaurants and bars for entertainment. Its great for a beach getaway and conveniently close to San Diego."

"The room was too small for a king size bed. It was difficult for two people with luggage. I could only estimate, but I don't think there was more than 10 inches to the wall on my side of the bed. Further, it was not disclosed in the hotel description that there was a charge of $45,00 per day for parking. We parked at the train station close by for $10.00."
