"We spent the night at this hotel. It was a hotel and conference center. So it was large and spread out They were remodeling so one section of the hotel was closed. The hotel rooms were clean and quiet. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was good with both hot and cold options. However it was in the section that apparently did not have people saying due to the remodeling. I have mobility issues and it was a very, very long walk to breakfast. If I would’ve had any idea how far it was, we would have skipped the breakfast. However, this was a nice hotel and once the remodel is finished, I would consider staying there again"
La Quinta Inn & Suites Summersville / New River National Park

"We stay here a few times a year when we visit the gorge. The staff are friendly and helpful. The place is clean. This La Quinta has a pool. Breakfast is pretty great too."

"There was not much interaction with staff, as they only clean your room every three days and not daily. I did not see anyone except for front desk and they were very polite. The room seemed well kept and looked clean. I was happy with my stay."

"We had never been to Snowshoe and I do realize we were there on Sunday. When we asked about dining options the attendant did not tell us there were a few open restaurants instead of just the two connected to their property which turned out to only be pizza. She also stated breakfast at Jake’s was five minutes down the road, which she should know they are closed on every Monday."

"We really enjoyed our stay. There were plenty of bedrooms to choose from. We appreciated that the beds were either bunk beds or king sized beds.The kitchen was well equipped. There was ample parking. The host was very easy to contact and quickly responded to questions. I especially liked the fun decor."

"The trip was ok! We were not aware that the onsite restaurant would be closed for the first two days of our trip! We would have brought much more food from home. The cabin and furniture needs some repairs! Simple! Folks were nice and helpful. River was low but beautiful!"
