The beach is peaceful also. A few people walking dogs, some small groups sitting out. We love looking for unique shells! We are planning next years visit here."

"This was our first visit to Holden Beach. The house was exactly as pictured except the owner has added some very comfortable outdoor seating on the deck. We spent mornings and evenings sitting outside watching and listening to the ocean. The location was perfect for us - close to restaurants (I highly recommend Mermaids Island Grill) and Sunset Slush (Italian Ice) within a 3 minute drive along with a Public Beach access diagonally across from the driveway. There is also another Public Beach...
