"Beautiful old home and suite. Very clean, comfortable and the breakfast was first-rate. The hosts are welcoming and have an eye for detail that makes this a special and highly recommended experience. Walkable to numerous dining options and several museums. Only downside was traffic noise in the evening that mostly abated after about midnight so if you are noise-sensitive consider booking a room at the middle or back, but don’t let this stop you from experiencing this fantastic inn."

"We had a great stay at the Happy Place and wished we'd had more time to explore the local area. The house was very clean, and spacious with lots of modern equipment. We had big soccer tournament in the local area which was 15 moinutes drive from the house so it was perfect location for us to relax in between the games. "Great place. Exactly what we were looking for. Pool table was a definite plus. Only 15 minutes from downtown, the airport, practically everything we needed. Our host, James and staff were so helpful providing necessary rental information as well as places to see and things to do in Richmond. Would definitely stay there again."
