Great pub, great room, great food.

This property was a find! I was concerned driving there as it was located in the middle of nowhere and thank God for Google maps else I don't know how I would find it. But what a delight! This is a beautiful hotel - looks like its bread and butter is weddings. Excellent food and good gym.

I enjoyed my stay at Norcroft Guest House. The staff members are kind. I was able to check-in early and was so grateful for that. I was offered a slice of lemon cake on arrival (delicious!) and offered fruit to take on my last morning when I wasn't going to be there for breakfast. The breakfast was tasty and delivered to my room at the time I requested. I would definitely stay here again if ever in Penrith in the future. Thank you! My husband, our pup and I had the pleasure of staying at the Halston for one night, and I wish we had booked for longer. The apartment/hotel rooms are large, far more generous than the photos, and very well equipped for both long and short stays. The staff provided a welcome package on arrival, complete with dog treats, crumpets, jam, butter, milk and coffee – which was so appreciated after a day of travel. The Manager of Warwick, guest house was cheery and very personable! We enjoyed the conversation and all the helpful information she provide. The room was wonderful as well as the bed. The parking was convenient and easy! The breakfast was filling and delicious! We had a great time in Carlisle!

The Queens was a little gem in the countryside. The staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner was excellent and far exceeded normal pub fair. The room was small but well appointed and clean. The location was great for visiting Hadrian's Wall. Breakfast was also quite nice.

Very nice traditional country Pub/Hotel

The room was gorgeous and Sue is the kindest person. Lots of attention to detail and the little things that make your stay special. One issue was low water pressure in the shower due to a temperamental electric device that runs the shower head.

Lovely spot. Warm,Spotless and spacious. We were in room 2 overlooking the street and an adjacent park.

Very nice restaurant and fun place to stay.
