"Lovely setting but no one there to give us the key even though we’d sent 2 emails requesting info regarding collection with time of arrival. Noise from 9pm TIL 4am so couldn’t sleep. Dog faeces on paths. Toilet broken. No microwave. Needs updating and cleaning of the shower room. Lounge and bedroom roomy and comfortable. "

"Great place to stay, the room is exactly as advertised. 20 minute walk downtown and well connected to East Midlands. The studio with the small kitchenette and the private bathroom was definitely worth it. The gym is great for a little workout "

Negatives: our booking was changed fairly last minute from “the terrace” to a different house “the Mews” for unknown reasons. (So my review is not for this listing, but for “The Mews”.) "First of all it could not be found. My sat nav couldn't find it. Varney Rd did not have a street sign and I don't think 44 actually exists. It took over 1 hour to locate this den. The key lockbox is situated on a wall, unmarked, and with all adjacent doors un numbered, on what can only be described as wasteland behind some shops. Once I located the keys (2) I brought my car around to park on this wasteland and was met by a couple of males getting their 'ladies' ready for work. The doors in this...
