"All staff were professional, helpful and friendly. The hotel was in good condition and clean. For a hotel all meal and drink prices were reasonable. Ideally placed for a walk along one of the best beaches in Norfolk and very short drive into G Yarmouth or Lowestoft. The new children’s water fun area is brilliant for the little ones and free."

"Comfortable room with excellent tea making supplies - and a good sized mug each! The floor fan was useful as it was very warm. The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chef’s kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. "

"I absolutely loved the Decoy Barn and John and Suzanne were so kind and welcoming! Breakfast was delicious and so beautifully prepared. There were lots of options to choose from. There are many interesting places to visit in the area! I can’t wait to go back! Their little dog Buddy is very friendly and loves to chase his ball. The property is nicely maintained and it was a memorable experience staying there. The countryside around the area is lovely. It would be a great place to live and accessible from the train line, which isn’t too far away. I got a local taxi fron Great Yarmouth to get there and John was always ready to offer a ride here or there if I needed to go somewhere close by. Thanks for everything!!!"

"Being right on the river, as my husband is a fisherman it was his utopia! Would have liked a different menu, the Sunday lunch was great, but more choices would be nice. Desserts were a challenge! "
