"Tahoe Vacation Rentals was great to work with. The property itself was clean, comfortable and functional, and could use some updates, but we knew this from the listing and previous reviews. We loved the eagles’ nest bunk bed loft and the huge, comfy couch in the living room. The location is great - a 5-minute drive to Pallsades even with holiday traffic. A few things could use some TLC: the stove is quite dated and one of the two toilets flushed poorly. The heat (a combo of baseboard heating and wall panels) was persnickety. Overall we were happy to find this place for a last-minute holiday-weekend stay. "

"Great location right in the village and steps from the lifts. Hosts were extremely accommodating and went out of their way to be helpful. The condo is clean and in perfect condition. We had a wonderful stay!"

"We stayed at Powder Moon 12/15-12/21. The house itself is wonderful and was very comfortable for us. It is exactly as described and the owners Mike and Debbie have very much made every effort to make their home comfortable. Our plan was to ski, but of course the lack of snow this year in Mid-December made that impossible. We made do as there are plenty of things to do in the Truckee/Tahoe area. Mike, the owner, was very responsive and a good host. The beds were amazingly comfortable. I appreciated how everything is labeled (especially the light switches). The kitchen was stocked and I’m sure we added to the stores of dry goods .Overall, we had a great and relaxing stay, not the ski vacation we’d envisioned, but I’d stay there again"
