The hotel is remote, but the views are incredible. Food and beverage service was above par. Staff were incredible (front desk & check in, restaurant and housekeeping, all amazing). Loved this hotel and hope to return!

This family owned hotel has extremely large rooms with plenty of sitting space and provides an excellent scenic view of Sparta and the Taygetus Mountains. Staff was very attentive and pleasant.

This was a beautiful lace in Sparti. The pool is well maintained and fun. Lots of kids and families. The houses are great to help you feel at home in the area and a good base to explore the mountains and close to Mystras. Very friendly staff and the breakfast was a fantastic spread.

This property is located right outside of Sparta. It’s perfect if you are visiting the ancient sites of Sparta and Mystras. This is a beautiful resort and the rooms are fabulous! There is a restaurant insight which is delicious and breakfast was divine!

Excellent Stay...really top notch.

This place is amazing. Service was amazing. Has a Medeival Castle look and vibe. Nestled in the foothills with fantastic view of the valley below. If you are visiting the Sparta area stay here.....you won't regret it.

Fantastic 4 star hotel

Beautiful property in the middle of an olive orchard! Gorgeous pool area, amazing breakfast included. The property and rooms are gorgeous. We had a family suite with a loft that was spacious and beautiful. Staff made our stay even better!

Fabulous top of hill location. We were pre-season so almost alone. Super helpful skeleton staff. Teeny uphill streets for access. All crowds in downtown Sparti - this is a resort style hotel.

Bery beautiful stone built property with spacious room and very well kept. Greeted by Demetrios who could not have been knder or friendlier. The hotel is a little distance from the city so was good to eat on site.

Great property 10 minutes drive outside of central Sparta. Excellent service from check-in to check-out. Quick and easy. Amazing views, great pool, great food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Polite and friendly staff. Rooms very big for our family of 5. Will stay again when we visit Sparta.

Absolutely Wonderful!

Friendly and swift check in. View of Sparti breathtaking. There was nothing missing in the 3 rooms we rented. Breakfast was delicious omelettes, crepes, fruit and any coffee you desired. Service and checkout was impeccable.

The location of this property is absolutely amazing. You have a 360 degree view of all of Sparti and the surrounding area. The food was also excellent, especially the breakfast (man they give you a lot of food, lol!). The place itself is very nice, though the room was a bit "Spartan", pun intended. It had everything we needed but the shower could have been a bit cleaner. The help was very polite and helpful. I would highly recommend this property if anything for the wonderful view.

Awesome place and highly recommended

Our stay at the Melies Hotel was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and very hard working to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The pool area and restaurant views overlook the mountains, olive trees, and the wonderful city of Sparta. The rooms and accommodations were spacious and very clean. The breakfast included in your stay is full of fruits, breads , eggs , and coffees. The menu is full and there so many drinks to choose from alcoholic and non alcoholic. This place for a vacation or a quick short local get away is highly recommended for any size family and any age group you may have or be traveling with. Thai is place will be a return stay for our family for sure.

Last minute stay due to emergency

This was a last minute emergency booking so we were not able to see or enjoy the facilities. The staff were ver friendly and helpful. A little hard to find the place late at night but we are used to bigger North American roads.

The property is in need of a bit of a spruce up with discarded equipment in the garden. The arrival receptionist was very half hearted and uninformative. Bar experience was terrible - box wine and no tonic. The breakfast staff however were excellent. Awesome views made it passable.
