We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was spotless and very comfortable. We had everything we needed for the meals we cooked. David was very responsive to any questions we had. The location was perfect, close to downtown sparta but still felt very private. The kids had a great time fishing in the pond and the river.

Family get-together

Family (including mini dachshund) from 3 locations got together for an overdue visit. Our plan was to just visit and relax...and eat. This was the perfect location and we met our "goals" ;-) The house was super clean and had all the amenities we needed. David, our host was quick to respond to questions via phone and text message. We would definitely think about staying here again.

Great, relaxing place!

We enjoyed our stay! The house is very peaceful and relaxing. We fished literally the whole trip and I believe everyone caught several fish. The house was clean. The space worked fine. David was always super responsive and helpful! The river access is near another house on the property, so we didn’t utilize that (although we were told we could so I don’t think it’s a problem). But the pond was the best asset and it was nice just to walk right outside the door and drop a line in. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Amazing family vacation

Awesome Stay

We had a wonderful time. Property was amazing, clean, and really quiet. We enjoyed the plentiful deer and turkeys which frequently came near the cabin. Just a wonderful time for our family at this property

Quiet Secluded Get away

Rented both houses on this property for added space for 2 families. The area is beautiful quiet with lots of wild life. Great fishing in both the pond and river.

Peaceful

Property sits in a beautiful setting. It was peaceful and just what we needed. Lots of room for everyone, owner responded immediately when called. Would definitely stay there again!

Fantastic Place

We stay in this area every year. This is the best place so far. Every bedroom had a great TV! Best TV arrangement and channels galore. Great views, rockers on the porch, excellent internet, and an outstanding host.

Perfect location for rest and relaxation

The family had an awesome time. Very comfortable. Sitting at the bonfire under the clear sky was enjoying. Wish we had a few extra days before returning to our busy lives. Looking forward to coming back.

A true sanctuary!

My husband and I were the first occupants of this lovely new house! The owners were so gracious and inviting. The drive was so easy up to a lovely secluded area with a pond in front with 2 piers! It was the most peaceful vacation we have ever had. We awakened to deer in the front yard. I can’t say enough about the owners, Pat and Larry! We had everything we needed and more. Thank you so very much for making this our new home away from home!
