"GFMH is a great place to stay when going to a performance at the nearby Lincoln Theater. I enjoy the old-world feel of the place, and the upgraded guest rooms. Each room is different, clean, well appointed and comfortable. Good value for the reasonable cost. The included breakfast is not much, but there are coffee shops and a cafe on the same block. Stay there for the location, value and room comfort. "

"Staff was friendly and helpful, offered dining options. Room was clean and comfortable, no frills, had fridge and microwave. Sink area was easy access, bathroom was small but not inconvenient. Would stay there again."

"We were greeted by the owner…she very graciously showed us around the hotel and gave us a room with a view of the New River. She was very welcoming. The 1902 building has been beautifully restored. The room was great…as a side note, she told us that they would be opening a steakhouse in town in a couple of weeks. The space worked very well for us as a couple. Note that they have rooms and dining options available for scheduling an event for friends and family."
