Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns
10/10 Excellent
"Location was perfect! Tons of restaurants, beautiful views of harbor, and great walking areas. So close to reef terminal for easy water tour departures. Room was big, clean and I loved the big refrigerator in the room. (Laundry was amazingly inexpensive for luxury hotel- $40 for 20 pieces) Hotel could use some maintenance (paint touch-ups in rooms, new pool furniture, cleaning/painting of roof and awning areas, etc) but staff was excellent and very accommodating! I would go back."

"Well, what can you say, you pay for what you get, it's a good hotel, the staff are lovely, unfortun1tely, the room is not what on the advertised photos, we have been here for four days and never had our room done, towels replaced etc, the room door doesn't have a chain or extra security on it, also they are a little run down, if you on a budget it's a good place to stay, bed is very comfortable, I would probably stay here again."
