"Everything was nice and the staff was amazing. Breakfast was decent. When I checked in, they didn't tell me that there was a fee for parking - it was charged to my credit card afterwards. I had seen other reviews mentioning it so I wasn't shocked, but if I hadn't seen those I would have been upset and had to call and ask about the charges, etc. Generally, one doesn't expect to pay for parking at a hotel but that was my only real complaint. The staff really went above and beyond though - very kind and accomodating!"

"The room seemed old and worn. There was an indoor pool but closed because the water quality was bad. The garage was very convenient but good for smaller cars and kind of pricey. "

"I stayed here two nights and it was super comfortable. I lived in a provided bathrobe basically the entire time I was on the property. It’s definitely quiet and for quiet guests as it’s an older property. I really enjoyed the charm and especially the proximity to the Nelson Atkins museum. My room had an adorable wood burning fireplace that is available for guest use but I opted for the radiator space heater that was in the closet. I was travelling alone and I mostly kept to myself but there are multiple indoor and outdoor common areas that you can use. The property is well maintained and I would absolutely stay here again."

"I was visiting my daughter at UMKC and this property was just a mile from there. It was a perfect location to get to the college, the Plaza, and the Nelson Atkins Museum. This third floor apartment has been tastefully restored and decorated. My daughter and I slept very well in the comfortable bed. We would definitely stay here again!"
