"Property very difficult to find as out of date pictures & false impression of outside. Property inside was fairly clean. But access stairs & Outlook really let it down as not clean. Apartmentment was well equipped & comfortable. Sadly shower was not working nor was the fan in the bathroom. It is however in a very noisy area late at night & early in the morning, so personally would not stay here with children. However it is very close to all amenities."

"Room was spotlessly clean. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Lovely breakfast. DIY waffles was a nice touch. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking again"

The Durley Dean Hotel

"We love this hotel as a family of five with children who need to be in our room still. The basement rooms are well maintained with bunk beds and an extra single bed along with a very large bed for the adults. Bathroom was small and slightly awkward but shower was hot and there were plenty of towels and aircon was an added bonus. Parking costs £15 a night. It's also dog friendly and a few moments from Durley Chine beach which allows dogs all year, and is the nicest beach. It is also an easy walk to restaurants in town. For a budget seaside break I would definitely recommend."

"Perfect location right on Sandbanks beach and easy to park. Can jump on the chain ferry just outside and walk along Studland beach too. Love the outside heated pool. We stayed in a budget double room which is great value. The room was clean and comfortable it just didn't have a view which was fine. We had dinner at the hotel in the evening which was very disappointing as the menu was nothing like what we had seen online. Breakfast was ok although items ran out fast and were not replaced very quickly."

"Our room was clean and well maintained. Unfortunately the breakfast was very monotonous and the coffee was terrible. The staff were very friendly and helpful. At the weekend there was a large group of travellers in the bar and they were very rude to the staff. The atmosphere was very intimidating both for the staff and customers.Some of them were making racist comments. Their children were feral. We avoided the bar when they were present. Management should have done something."
