Very lovely stay. Beautiful views of the lake. Room was large and very comfortable with a full size tub for soaking after hikes all day. The trek to the train station from the hotel is uphill but manageable. Food at restaurant was average.

The Strandhotel Belvedere is truly amazing! I arrived early yesterday, and was warmly greeted by Carolina, whose customer service was outstanding. I was able to check in earlier than expected, and am so happy at this hotel. They have a gorgeous view at ‘Captains Bar’ where I received a complimentary desert and coffee. The wellness area is gorgeous! And then, I had dinner last night at their restaurant. It was truly one of the best meals of my life, and the service I received from Dominique was also outstanding. She and the other server were amazing, and made my dinner experience so special. I cannot wait to return to this beautiful hotel!

Loved this hotel and it was such a shame that we were here for just one night. I'd return to Spiez just to stay at this hotel again. Beautiful property located in a beautiful location. Staff was amazing, friendly, and so accommodating. We had to catch an early train and they packed breakfast for us to eat on the train. The dry sauna overlooking the lake was so dreamy. Thank you so much for a pleasant stay.

The Belvedere offers 5 star quality and amenities for a 3 star price. The spa options are varied and wonderful. Afternoon tea was lovely with the cheesecake our favorite. Service was friendly and accommodating. Dining options were excellent. There’s no need to stay in less gracious and more expensive places in Interlaken when the Belvedere is a short train ride away in Spiez.
