"We stayed on the top floor with our guest from home country, Japan. We had some concerns about bed bugs based on past reviews, but we didn’t see any signs and had great time with fantastic view.

"This place is adequate, but very basic. If you are there just to hike and then come back and sleep, it is ok. It was reasonably close to the train station, but there is a section you have to walk along a busy road. It would be better if you are traveling by car. Drains in the sink and shower are slow. It was very hot when we were there and it was difficult to leave windows open for fresh air because of the flies. May not be an issue if you come in cooler weather."

"The property was amazing for the price. The host is responsive and leaves notes for those who have questions.
The living room has a window which has an amazing view of a beautiful mountain, and a short 10 minute walk to the vibrant waters.
The only minor complaint is that there are many flies, but other than that the place was very nice!"

"The apartment is small and very functional. Your basic needs are all addressed very comfortably. The Tourist Card that the owners, Branka and Hans, arranged for us to obtains was GREAT. In short, our stay was wonderful and the hosts were amazing! "

"The house is beautiful and very clean. The view is amazing. It was nice that it had coffee ,oil, salt and pepper , it made our life easier especially the rice cooker since we like to eat rice. It so close to train station and the lake. After staying g at Spiez, we left for Grindelwald but we wish we should have just stayed at Speiz, the surrounding is way better"
