Dan was super nice and accommodating. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, look elsewhere. It you want a large, clean farmhouse, this place is for you. Being a working family farm, expect to see a tractor or two going in and out. We really enjoyed sitting on the wrap around porch with a book watching the cows. Lilly, the family's dog, was super friendly and may come to visit you. We will definitely go back!
Thanks again Dan!
Our large family traveled to the property. Other people were staying there and we were turned away by the owner. Nothing was done to find ys a new place, so we turned around and drove home. It was a waste of time, money and gas. Nothing was done to make situation right.
Not what I expected. Normally, I would say this is bad but in this case it was GREAT STAY. These people are not too good to be true. Authenticly welcoming folks that give you a nice home base to explore the area. Dan is a gem. He is available as much as you would like. You will have some interaction with Him and his family at this listing. If you do not want to see others at your stay it is not a good fit. He does have other properties which I have not stayed at in the area that offer more privacy

The property we were put in was not what I paid for. There were no goats, the owner asked us to move half way through our stay to a home he and his son live in as he had rented out the house he put us in there someone else. Very disappointed. Whole reason for choosing that house was the porch, privacy, and goats. None of which we got.
The listing clearly says exactly this, "You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party." This is not the case. Host arrived about an hour late to show us the property. Gave a tour of the house. Two of the beds were covered in cat hair. We brought our own bedding so no big deal to us. After getting settled in, my kids were then surprised by some lady in the house. Apparently there is another lady and her cat that live in the house. This was never even mentioned by the host and a direct contradiction of the ad. Also, there were other groups camping on the property which were told they could use the grill on the porch of the house. Somone was there mowing the lawn for 4 hours. There were other people at the house constantly. Owner needs to be honest and forthright about what he is offering people. It is a community property.
