I cannot recommend Schnatterhof enough, especially for anyone traveling solo! I was traveling through Austria alone and speak essentially no German, so staying somewhere rural was a little intimidating at first. The family here went completely above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and could enjoy my stay. They helped me arrange a horseback riding experience nearby, which ended up being one of the absolute highlights of my entire trip to Austria. They even helped me figure out how to...

Alexandra, Ava, and the entire staff were the best! Very friendly and helpful for everything we needed and wanted to do in Passau. The hotel location was perfect and in a quiet part of town. Highly recommend!

The most spacious room we have stayed at, it is the size of a nice apartment. Easy parking and late checking, not in the center of everything but still walkable. We would definitely stay again.
