Summary:
Built in 1821, this classic Cornish cottage in a quiet village just outside St Agnes is well-suited for families and groups of couples. A beautiful property with traditional granite walls and wooden floorboards, this cottage has all the elements of classic Cornish architecture. Situated just outside St Agnes, it is perfectly suited for a family or group getaway enjoying local beaches and attractions. There is free parking on the drive for 2 cars, or perhaps 3 with a squeeze!

The Space:
The bright, spacious lounge area with Wi-Fi, smart TV & HIFI system is perfect for chilling out after a long day at the beach, plus there is an additional lounge with second TV - great for kids!

The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you could need. Sleeps up to 6 with downstairs double bedroom, upstairs double and a bunk bed, which is suitable only for children. Also has large garden with seating.

The cottage sleeps up to 5 across 3 bedrooms. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and bunk room opposite with a double on the bottom and single on top. These two rooms share a bathroom on the same level. The third bedroom is downstairs, so has step free access, and has a bathroom adjacent to it.

The lounge is bright and spacious with a sofa and armchair as well as a smart TV and HIFI system. There is also a second lounge adjacent to the kitchen with another smart TV - perfect for entertaining the kids for when you need a bit of peace and quiet! The kitchen is also well equipped with all the essentials, appliances and cooking utensils you should need.

Furthermore, there is also a large outdoor space with patio seating, BBQ, garden and picnic bench. Perfect for relaxing on summer evenings with an outdoor meal and a drink or two!

Dogs allowed with fee of £20/dog. Max 2.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire property and garden.

The Neighborhood:
Goonbell is a quiet village just outside St Agnes, with shops, cafes and pubs very close by. There are also 3 beaches within 10 minutes drive! These are Porthtowan beach, also with lots of nice cafes and pubs, St Agnes beach and the quiet and secluded Trevellas Cove.

Getting Around:
Given the remote nature of Cornwall, a vehicle is recommended for getting around.

Other Things to Note:
Please note, our neighbours opposite the road are currently building a new house, there will be some noise during the next few months whilst this is under construction.

Dogs are welcome with a fee of £20/dog (max 2). It is on the condition they are not allowed on the soft furnishings or in the bedrooms.

Great place from which to explore the area

We wanted somewhere to be a comfortable place to stay as a base for walking. It was great for this with all the areas we went to really nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property had everything we needed, communication with Will was quick and clear, and we found everything as expected on arrival. I would recommend to extended family group such as ours! Thanks for having us.

I found the house exactly as described. It was well equipped for a holiday let. It was further out of the village than I imagined and I really needed the car to get provisions. There was a really nice garden which was excellent for the dog. With the great weather it was an great holiday, and I discovered a new Cornish beach at Chapel Porth.

Bei Ankunft der erste Blick auf Müll-Säcke. Die Wohnung hatte einige Mängel, es gab aber eine gute Kommunikation mit dem Management und einer freundlichen Haushälterin, die sogar gleich am Sonntag sich direkt um uns gekümmert hat. Insgesamt wirkte alles verbraucht. Defekte Stühle, völlig verklebter Esstisch - eine Tischdecke bekamen wir leider nicht - verbrauchtes Sofa. Schmutzige Küchen- Utensilien, verottete Gartenstühle und Tisch, vesotteter Heerd- Umluft- Filter, eckeliger Essensgeruch bei Ankunft. Die Schlafzimmer und Bäder waren o.k. und alles sauber. Wir bekamen neue Backbleche geliefert, die aber leider zu klein waren...... insgesamt muss man aber sagen, dass bei Abstellung der Mängel die Wohnung ausreichend Platz und Gemütlichkeit bietet und auch am Wochenende ein kurzfristiger Kontakt zur Verwalterin besteht. Problem war auch die nicht ausreichende Erklärung der Inbetriebnahme der Heizung und die Handhabung der Müllentsorgung/ Mülltrennung. Eine entsprechende Mappe haben wir nicht gefunden.Wir selbst würden von einem erneuten Besuch dieser Unterkunft absehen.
